BREAKING NEWS: White House Erased E-mail Tapes

The White House has acknowledged recycling its backup computer tapes of e-mail before October 2003, raising the possibility that many electronic messages — including those pertaining to the CIA leak case — have been taped over and are gone forever.

The issue is courage...or, rather, the lack of it. I had began to have a flicker of hope in the Democratic party, that they might have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to Emperor Bush and do something to stop the empire he has began to build. Turns out they're all spineless, as well. Silly me. I forgot for a moment that they are all politicians. That makes them untrustworthy by definition.

luckily for us.. it did happen and they did what you expected of them.. takes a bit of searching but there are quite a few people outraged at the felony destruction of emails that liberal media let gore get away with as they never would have done with nixon.

More on this sordid mess ... a minutes-before-midnight filing Tuesday by the White House in response to a "you have five days to cough up some answers" directive from a District Court Judge ... and the result is more "we don't know if mails are missing or not" ... WTH have they been doing since 2005 when the first White House internal assessment of back up servers said that there were days w/out any mail?!?

There is a much MUCH more detailed piece in the WaPo ... I also have quotes from CREW's website. There is also a different AP version than your seed. Did anyone see the Newsvine wire story?
